Heather was born in Miami, FL and raised in Plantation, FL. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree from University of Vermont.

Prior to working as an Administrative Coordinator here at MMSKM, Heather worked as a Marketing Manager for several software companies where she was in charge of trade shows and direct marketing. During her professional endeavor, Heather also served as a staffing manager for a FEMA project during hurricane season.

Upon becoming a mother, Heather knew she wanted both of her daughters to experience Montessori education in their early childhood years. Experiencing the fruit of the philosophy through them, Heather and her Husband Ken, decided to allow their daughters to finish their Elementary Years in a Montessori environment.

After being out of the work field for sometime in order to support her daughters’ artistic career endeavors, Heather was excited to get back, accepting a position in the administration team here at MMSKM.

Heather resides in Cumming, GA with her husband Ken and daughter Mackenzie. During her free time, she enjoys visiting her other Daughter, Emily in New York, traveling to US national parks, Europe, Caribbean and Baltic cruises, reading and jewelry making.
