Ms. Lorena was born in Mexico. She came to the United States in 2011 because of her husband’s job. 

She received a Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education in 1995 and since then she has been working in a school setting. 

The children’s education and the interaction with them has always given her a lot of peace, that’s why she dedicated her life to them.

While she was working in a traditional school settings, she has been curious about the Montessori method. When she finally knew it first hand, she fell in love with this pedagogy. She has been working in a Montessori environment since 2012.

Ms. Lorena lives in Roswell, GA with her husband and their two boys.

In her free time, she loves to practice Yoga and go on hikes. She also likes to spend time with her family, which is the most important thing for her.
