Minji was born and raised in Jeungpyeong-gun, South Korea where she graduated with a Master’s degree in science from the Sungkyunkwan University. 

During her youth, Minji dreamed of traveling the World. In 2009 she took a trip to the United States and immediately fell in love with America, making Florida her new home. Minji worked hard on learning and adapting to her new environment and established a career in the hospitality industry. She found it exciting to serve and meet new people and enjoyed the many opportunities she got to interact with others. 

In 2010 she moved to New York where she met and married her husband and later to New Jersey to start a family. While living in New Jersey, she was introduced to the fascinating world of Montessori education and immediately knew that when she had children, they would become Montessorians. She was extremely attracted to how pure and eager to learn children were and how quickly they absorbed the world around them. In 2017, Minji completed her AMS Infant/ Toddler certification and became a Toddler Lead Guide. 

She now resides in Cumming, Georgia with her husband and wonderful 4 year old son, who currently attends Milton Montessori. She has now embarked on a new journey to expand her Montessori knowledge and is working alongside Ms. Fouzia as a primary assistant guide. In her free time, she finds joy in reading, listening to music and drawing
