Claudia Muñoz
Ms. Claudia Muñoz was born and raised in Huelva, Spain, a place full of unique culture and traditions.
From a young age, she has always had a passion for education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Huelva, Spain with a specialization in Special Education.
Ms. Claudia started her teaching career over 2017 in a traditional elementary school and in 2019 when her and her husband made the decision to move to the United States in search of new experiences when her husband’s company offered him to relocate to North Carolina and one year later to Georgia.
During her first year here in the US she discovered the great opportunity to learn more about the Montessori philosophy and methodology and she was deeply drawn to its focus on individual development and active learning. After coming to the United States, she was trained through the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) where she received her Montessori Primary Certification.
In addition to her passion for education. She enjoys dedicating her free time to creative activities such as painting and cooking, besides traveling and spending time with her husband and friends. She also dedicates her free time to a personal obligation, studying English, as one of the main reasons she came to the United States was to learn the language.
She is excited for the opportunity to be part of this educational team and apply her knowledge and experience in a wonderful Montessori environment. She firmly believes that every child has unique potential, and she is committed to helping them achieve it through a stimulating and respectful learning environment.
