Sandra was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in business and a Master’s degree in project evaluation. 

She worked in the banking industry for over 15 years and quickly worked her way up to a management role leading the customer conciliation department. Sandra found fulfillment in helping large corporations salvage their business and in educating others on financial intelligence. 

In October of 2021 Sandra, her husband and now 7 year old daughter, relocated to the United States after her husband was presented with a new career opportunity. Shortly after their move Sandra was given the opportunity to work with young infants in a Montessori setting. She felt right at home as this was already a parenting style she resonated with. 

Sandra finds joy in learning from the children everyday and taking part in their development. She is currently working alongside our Nido lead guide as a Nido assistant guide and is getting ready to embark on the journey of completing her AMS infant/toddler certification and CDA certification.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, admiring nature, visiting different restaurants and most of all spending time with her family.
