Kanaka (Maha) Aripaka
Maha was born and raised in India where she graduated with an engineering and technology Bachelor’s degree and where she pursued a career as an IT consultant.
Following her marriage in 2008, Maha and her husband migrated to the United States. Due to her husband’s career, she lived in multiple states and in 2014 relocated to Cumming, Georgia where she resides with her husband and two daughters.
After becoming a mother, she wanted to focus on motherhood and family and became a homemaker during her children’s early childhood. In this time, MMSKM became familiar with the Montessori education philosophy and enrolled her daughters in a Montessori program where they completed their primary education.
Wanting to become more involved in the Montessori community, she began a career as a primary teacher assistant guide in 2019. She finds great joy working at Milton Montessori where she gets to be a part of the incredible growth and development of children in a nurturing and individualized environment. Maha loves that Montessori offers children hands-on experiences and respect for their unique development.
She finds it incredibly fulfilling to witness children learn, grow and overcome challenges. She will complete her AMS primary certification in the summer of 2024. In her free time, Maha enjoys watching movies with her family, exploring new places, going on long drives, trekking in nature paths or parks and of course shopping!
