At Milton Montessori, we believe a healthy mind and body is conducive to effective learning. We have an in-house chef in our staff who prepares fresh, healthy and tasty meals daily for students. Lunch is prepared in our own kitchen with natural ingredients at the highest standards of cleanliness. One of our motivations to streamline the lunch program (lunch cost included with tuition)is that we have observed children do much better when they sit together and eat from the same menu. In addition, it broadens their range of food choices beyond what they eat at home. We gladly accommodate certain meal preferences like vegetarian only or nut free meal. There are also a couple of opportunities through the course of the year when parents will be invited to taste sample dishes from our lunch so we can refine our menu based on your feedback.

Undoubtedly one of our most popular lunch dishes – loved by all kids.Made with our home-made pizza crust, freshly prepared chunky tomato sauce mixed with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese.
Chicken Quesadilla

Prepared with shredded cooked chicken, zesty tomato salsa, scallions (green onion), crispy baked wheat flour tortillas, Monterey Jack cheese. Topped with a pinch of salt, melted butter and dried oregano for taste.

Pockets of golden brown pie crusts baked with the goodness of cooked chicken marinated with chunky broth, fresh mixed vegetables, chopped onions, melted butter, scoop of milk and pinches of salt & pepper for taste.

Cod Fillets (or a seasonal fish based on chef’s choice) marinated in battered eggs, lemon-pepper seasoning, paprika, salt & butter, dipped into dried bread crumbs, then placed into our oven and roasted to crispy golden-brown hue. Served with a side of chunky tomato sauce.

Mac & Cheese with Broccoli
Medium sized pasta shells cooked with boiling salt water. It’s then gently stirred with salted butter, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, shallots & whole milk. Salt and ground black pepper sprinkled in for taste. Freshly chopped broccoli florets added in along with extra sharp grated cheddar cheese and cooked to perfection.

Cooked Penne pasta stirred gently with melted butter, garlic, diced tomatoes, whole milk. Grated Parmesan cheese added in and stirred until the texture is thickened. Topped with Parsely flakes, salt and pepper for flavor and taste.
Vegetable Lasagna with Spinach

Lasagna noodles cooked in lightly salted water, mixed with ricotta cheese, freshly chopped spinach leaves, eggs, basil, salt and black pepper. Layers of the noodles are then set between pasta sauce and cheese, topped with sprinkles of mozzarella and parmesan cheese and baked inside the oven until lasagna is bubbling and lightly browned.
Turkey, Potato & Beans
A healthy dish with pan stirred green beans mixed with soy sauce, well cooked turkey slices seasoned with sesame oil, garlic and ginger paste. Brown or white rice mixed in for healthy and whole food carbs. Salt & Pepper added for taste.
