Ms. Leydi was born in Ibague, Colombia. She moved to the USA in 2005 after finishing her Nursing degree. 

Leydi is married to her husband Victor, they have 3 Children, Victor and Julia both in college and Suri in high school. 

Before she entered nursing school, she wanted to be a preschool teacher but decided to  follow her parent’s advice to become a nurse. 

Her first job in the US was being a part time babysitter for special needs child, after her children were a little bit older, she was able to take on this role as a full time job for 3 years until the family decided to move to Florida. 

Then she became an assistant teacher in other schools in  Georgia. Currently she has more than 15 years of child care experience. 

She loves to see the children’s innocent faces which are always full of happiness and curiosity.

In her free time she runs, watches her children play  baseball and spends her free time with family.
